Sameera is originally from Mauritius.
She has many years of belly dancing experience, as a teacher and as a performer.

She is also has 20 years of experience in organizing dance events in London and Mauritius...

Passionate about sega dancing and singjng, she danced sega from an early age in her native Mauritius.
She immigrated to London and kept her culture alive by singing and dancing sega the national dance of the Indian Ocean islands.
Sameera realized that sega was danced under different names in various parts of the world namely the Carribbean, latin America where it us known as Coumbia.
She started recruiting and training a 5-strong sega dancing troupe.
Sugakane exquisite sega dancers UK and Sugakane is booked consistently to perform at weddings and parties throughout the UK.

Sameera teaches 10 hour sega dancing courses as well as ravanne drumming.
​
She has recorded sega singing and is also currently working on new material.
